2010 PRO BASS CHALLENGE TO SPRING TIME FISHING

The Pro Bass Challenge will make a change for the 2010 event, the format of Pro-Anglers and Co-Anglers will remain, the time of year will change. We will be moving to the spring time, to maximize our participation and bring forth many new top competitiors who will be available to fish, stay tuned for all the upcoming updates. Offical dates for the 2010 Pro Bass Challenge will be Feburary 27 and 28.

This charitable Pro-Am event where Professional Anglers, Co-anglers and Celebrites from the NFL, Major League Baseball and coaches is an annual fishing event that also raises money for the Pro Bass Challenge Foundation to help the restocking of  the Atchafalaya Basin. The popular catch and release fishing tournament which crowns a champion in the Professional Angler Division and in the Co-Angler Division that put's current and former NFL football players , Major League Baseball Players, as Co-Anglers, as well as amateurs from our area which is open to anyone over 18 years of age and in good standing with the Pro Bass Challenge, while paired with local and national Professional Anglers, Live weigh-in's will be conducted at Gerry Lane Enterprises on Reiger Road.

This year the Pro Bass Challenge will be an open event, no invites necessary. . The Champion in the Pro-Angler Division will be fishing for $10,001.00 cash based on 50 boats. The Top Co-Angler will be fishing for $2500.00, plus other generious prizes from our sponsors. Gerry Lane Enterprises on Reiger Road, will be the site of the daily weigh-in filmed live Saturday and Sunday for both local and national media groups. The excitement of professional bass fishing being brought into over 1 million homes per day is enough to keep anyone's focus.
